Things to do in Christmas

Updated: Apr 11, 2021

Christmas, the time for festive joy and spending quality time with your loved ones. Unfortunately, due to the new wave of the coronavirus, options as to how students can spend Christmas are very limited. However, it’s not too late as there are still activities you and your family can do to celebrate Christmas, even during the pandemic!

Firstly, students can go to Harbour City, a mall located in Tsim Tsa Tsui. Every year, it has three main attractions. One of them is the opportunity to take stunning photos at the Beary Christmas shop with the plush toys as well as the three-metre tall teddy bear. Another one is the customisable teddy bear clothing, where the fee is donated towards the Hong Kong Blood Cancer Donation. Last but not least, there is the Christmas Lighting Garden where people can go to enjoy entertaining music shows as well as stunning LED light decorations.

Secondly, students can visit the Landmark’s Christmas Market for an exquisite shopping experience. The Christmas Market has several well-known brands and is beautifully decorated with fairy lights and a hint of cinnamon in the air.

Finally, instead of going out and about, students can celebrate Christmas this year with their family members, at home! This is a golden oppurtunity to bond with your family and make this Christmas even more happier. Stay home and bond over some Christmas Classics; like the Home Alone series, Elf, A Christmas Carol, and The Nightmare before Christmas.
